What You Will Do
As an Pharmacy Informaticist with Ascension, you will have the opportunity to design, document, maintain and implement pharmacy information solutions.
Collaborates on development and maintenance of pharmacy system standards. Assists users with the evaluation and selection of departmental applications, hardware and software.
Serves as a project leader and liaison between designated departments and groups for implementation and support of fully integrated clinical systems.
Continually improves work procedures and processes for unit(s) managed by working with technology professionals and managers to analyze system problems and develop solutions.
Collaborates on documentation of information system policies and procedures. Develops and maintains test plans for designated management systems.
What You Will Need
Licensed Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Drug Enforcement Admin.
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or combination of High School degree and related experience required.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
3 Years Preferred Technical Experience.
